Evening visit to one of our member’s orchards on May Hill – Thursday June 14th from 6:30 to 8:00.

The meadow is approx 5 acres with mature cider apple trees and has been managed for wildflowers with a hay cut for many years.  The orchard is on a gentle slope down from the road to a stream, there will be a mown path but we do recommend wellies/ boots/ walking shoes .

MEADOWS IN MAY ON FRIDAY MAY 25TH FROM 2:00M AT ANGUS BUCHANAN VC MEMORIAL RECREATION GROUND, COLEFORD GL16 8DS.

This was a wildflower identification event to help you identify plants in season then, some were in flower and others just showing leaves/ stems. We  put markers alongside the path in the main meadow at Angus Buchanan so that you can find them using photos taken a day or so before.

It rained rather a lot on the day but we recommend visiting the site whenever it is convenient for you.
