This is a small but steep bank with ant tumps, it is cut with a strimmer using the blade rather than the line, raked down and composted. We leave this later in the year for the insects, this year it was cut on September 8-9th.

Narrow side, c 2-3 metres wide

Wider side c 7-8 metres square

Chicken wire and post compost bin is big enough for the cut hay.
